Hambela is one of the most celebrated addresses in Ethiopian specialty coffee. Nested within the Guji zone of southern Ethiopia at a tightly banded altitude of 2,095 to 2,122 metres above sea level, the subregion is defined by its red-brown fertile soil, dense shade canopy and a microclimate that pushes heirloom Arabica varieties to their full expressive potential. Among the world’s finest natural-process lots, Ethiopia Hambela coffees consistently stand apart.

Whole ripe cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness and laid to dry slowly on raised African beds. Over weeks of careful sun drying, the fruit sugars infuse the bean gradually, building layers of sweetness and depth that define the natural process at its finest.

The cup delivers rich notes of raisin and cherry, softening into a smooth, lingering vanilla sweetness. Medium body, medium-to-high acidity. bright enough to keep every sip alive, balanced enough to never overwhelm.
